We’re excited to be supporting the very first Reading Together Day on 16 July, which invites children and families across the UK to take part in a celebration of the magical world of stories and the power of shared reading.

The aim of day is to bring families, friends, schools and wider communities together to share stories and have fun! A whole host of activities and events from a group of incredible organisations will enable people of all ages to celebrate reading, make connections, and build important literacy skills, whilst also helping to support wellbeing.

Reading Together Day is coordinated by The Reading Agency in collaboration with the National Literacy Trust, Authors Aloud UK, Arts Council England, ASCEL, BookTrust, British Library, CILIP, Coram Beanstalk, DCMS, Department for Education, Dollywood Foundation, Libraries Connected, Open University, Publishers Association, School Library Association and World Book Day.

Keep an eye on our Twitter and follow the hashtag #ReadingTogether to stay up-to-date with all the fantastic activities, events and celebrations for everyone to enjoy from all of the organisations behind Reading Together Day.
