Make the National Literacy Trust part of your birthday celebrations and ask your friends and family to make a donation in place of gifts. There are a few ways you can show your support:
- Set up a fundraising page: This is an easy way to collect donations from family and friends in lieu of birthday gifts. Remember to keep sharing your page on social media, via email and on WhatsApp in the weeks leading up to your birthday, and remind people why their donations matter.
- Fundraise at your party: We can send t-shirts, collection tins and bunting to help collect donations from family and friends at your party.
- Make your own donation: Keep things simple by making a donation on your birthday. Any donation, big or small, will help us to make a difference to children's lives in the most economically disadvantaged areas of the UK.
