  • Bilingual Children: a guide for parents and carers, by Foufou Savitzky, London Language and Literacy Unit, 1994. This booklet aims to reassure parents who are teaching their children to speak one or more home languages, as well as English, that this will benefit their children. It gives information, research findings and answers to questions parents often ask. There is also a list of practical suggestions parents can use to encourage their children in their bilingualism.
