In The Picture is a three year project from Scope that aims to promote the inclusion of disabled children in early years' picture books. It is encouraging publishers, illustrators and writers to embrace diversity, so that disabled children are included alongside others in picture books for young readers. In The Picture is part of Scope's Time to Get Equal campaign, which is aiming to change the way disabled people are perceived and treated. For more information visit www.childreninthepicture.org.uk
