Early years language development initiatives

Alongside Talk To Your Baby there are a number of initiatives to support children’s early language development. If you are involved in any early language initiative that you would like to share with others then please email us.

Please note that whilst we do our best to keep these pages updated, some of these initiatives may no longer exist or may have been further developed into different initiatives or ideas. However, they are still on our webpages as examples of good practice.

Talk To Your Baby has written a guidance paper to support early years practitioners working with young children and families. Alongside guidance within the context of current policy and governmental initiatives, the paper gives in-depth descriptions of current practice examples around the country. Read more.
