Remember us in your will
Leaving the National Literacy Trust a gift in your will is an effective way of continuing to support our work and ensuring we can continue to transform lives through literacy in the future. We will use your gift to ensure we continue to transform lives through literacy, reaching the hardest to reach communities and enabling individuals to fulfill their potential.

Donate in memory of a loved one
In memoriam donations are a positive way to celebrate the life of a friend or relative by giving a gift in their memory to a cause that was important to them.
If you would like to give in memory of a friend or relative:
- You can make the arrangements through a funeral director.
- You can donate online. Please confirm the name of the person your gift is celebrating, as well as your name and the details of your gift so that we can acknowledge your gift appropriately.
- Alternatively, please send any donations, along with the name of the person in whose memory the donations are collected, to: National Literacy Trust, Freepost RRLH-HGXT-ZSJB, 68 South Lambeth Road, London SW8 1RL. Please make all cheques payable to ‘National Literacy Trust’.
If you are organising a memorial service, we can provide collection envelopes that make it easy for those attending the service to make donations. Please email us for more information.
We will reply with thanks for your kind support unless otherwise requested. All in memoriam donations will be recognised by name in our annual report unless otherwise requested.
Where will the money go?
Any money donated will go towards our work across the UK with children, families and adults to improve literacy and, therefore, life chances for all. For for more information about our work read "who we help".
