Premier League Primary Stars

Premier League Reading Stars is now part of Premier League Primary Stars, a national curriculum-linked education programme which uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

The programme provides free to download lesson plans, activities and video content, designed to inspire learning in Maths, English, PE and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) for boys and girls aged 5-11. 

Primary schools can register for free on www.plprimarystars.com to enable access to the programme’s full portfolio of resources. For those that register to take part in Premier League Reading Stars there will be special incentives and opportunities. Read the press release here

The National Literacy Trust has been working with The Premier League to develop the English resources, including Premier League Reading Stars, a reading intervention aimed at reluctant readers. The National Literacy Trust has delivered Premier League Reading Stars in partnership with the Premier League since 2003.
