PLEASE NOTE: The WWE® Voice it! competition has now closed, and the winners have been announced.

Summer 2011: Voice it!

‘©2011 WWE Inc. All Rights Reserved’Following the outstanding success of the WrestleMania Reading Challenge, in the summer of 2011 the National Literacy Trust once again joined forces with WWE® to bring schools Voice it!, an exciting speaking and listening competition.

Being able to communicate well has a profound effect on an individual’s future success, whether that be in business, teaching, music, presenting, acting or any other career that they choose. It is extremely important that young people have role models in their lives, and celebrities who are good communicators can serve as great role models to inspire and motivate young people to work on their own communication skills. The WWE® Superstars and Divas are watched by millions of young people worldwide, and they all work hard to deliver positive messages to those who look up to them.

What was it all about?

Voice it! focused on developing pupils’ speaking and communication skills. To enter, pupils has to choose a topic which they felt passionate about and be filmed for no longer than one minute persuading a WWE® Superstar or Diva to share their views. The short-list of entries was judged by the Superstars and Divas themselves!

What was the prize?

The winning pupil(s) will be a Guest Manager at a WWE® UK event in the winter 2011! A fantastic “money-can’t-buy” experience, including:

  • A night acting as Guest Manager during a WWE® live event in front of thousands of fans!
  • A backstage visit to hang out with the WWE® Superstars before the show
