A guide to text types (sample)

This is a sample of our helpful guide about a variety of text types that are used in literacy. In the full guide, texts are divided into three types: narrative texts, non-fiction texts and poetry texts. Each of these types are subdivided into various specific examples of types of writing that fall under these categories. For each specific example, the structure, language features and tips for writers are included.
