Interview with a Reading Champion – Bernard Hare, author
Having grown up in a poor background, author Bernard Hare was inspired to help a group of twelve year old boys who were homeless and illiterate. In his book Urban Grimshaw and the Shed Crew, he recounts his attempts to get the boys interested in reading to save them from a potential life of crime.
