Resource - Prison Reading Champions

Prison Reading Champions is a framework designed to engage both prisoners and prison staff in reading. The framework was originally part of a national government-funded initiative for schools called Reading Champions. This project came to an end in March 2011, but prisons are still encouraged to continue the project independently in their own institution.

This resource provides an overview of the Reading Champions framework and ideas for how it can be implemented in a prison setting.
