Talk To Your Baby and National Childbirth Trust Research Review
In a bid to get across the importance of early communication to a wider audience Dr. Cathy Hamer, policy and communities manager at the National Literacy Trust undertook a research review on the importance of parent-child communication from birth as part of the National Childbirth Trust's research overview series.
The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) developed the research overview series to provide an evidence base for parenthood workers, and in this review Dr. Hamer discusses early language development and external factors that impact on language development, such as the home learning environment and socioeconomic status.
