Parental Involvement and Literacy Achievement

In May 2001, the National Literacy Trust produced a consultation paper entitled "Parental Involvement and Literacy Achievement: The research evidence and the way forward. A review of the literature."

The paper considers published evidence on parental involvement for children from birth to the age of 16. The review and recommendations given by the National Literacy Trust would interest anyone concerned with issues involving parental influences in the early years, parents and schools, family literacy, literacy and adolescents and adult literacy.
