Below are a range of downloadable Reading Connects resources for schools to use to support their National Year of Reading activities. They have been designed to fit in with the National Year of Reading's monthly themes but can be used at any time to work with your chosen activities. Click here for more suggestions of acitivities and a list of the monthly themes.
Some of these resources are editable and you can use them in two ways:
- Open the pdf, delete the instruction text in the document and print off the blank document for pupils to fill in by hand, or
- Ask each pupil to open the document on their computer from this page, they can then fill in the text themselves using their keyboards and print them off individually
If you save the pdfs to your own computer they will lose their editable function.
We are keen to hear your practical ideas and suggestions for activities for the NYR. Email readingconnects@literacytrust.org.uk
