Reading Champions external resources:

• Free memory sticks for headteachers, teachers, school business managers and all support staff

  Memory4Teachers is a major ICT initiative which gives away free USB memory sticks to headteachers, teachers, school business managers and all support staff. There is also a huge array of educational content and resources available via the memory stick.

• Passion for Knowledge posters

  Posters aimed to encourage and motivate reading among young people.

• Star Reads

  The Star Reads campaign aims to inspire young people, particularly those from inner-city and minority ethnic backgrounds, to read more. The campaign features series of posters featuring urban stars and booklists for children from multicultural backgrounds

• Using graphic novels across the curriculum

  Learning and Teaching Scotland has produced a literacy resource which highlights how graphic novels can engage pupils and be used throughout the curriculum.
