Reading Connects

Reading Connects was a network to support schools in developing a whole-school reading culture with the ultimate aim of improving pupils’ reading attitudes and increasing how much they read. The network was funded by Government from 2004 until March 2011 and we’d like to thank the Government for making Reading Connects possible and for all their support during this time.

We’d also like to thank all the Reading Connects members for their participation in and contribution to the network and emphasise that all our existing online resources, ideas and case studies are still freely available on our website. In addition to this all former members will now receive the new and improved National Literacy newsletter and can now use their Reading Connects username and password to login to the main National Literacy Trust site.

We are also pleased to be able to provide you with a new offer to help you transform literacy in your school. Our new Schools Network is just £75 per school per year, and offers benefits such as monthly resources, evaluation tools, discounts on National Literacy Trust products and special offers from partner organisations.
