johntownsendJohn Townsend has written a variety of works, including fiction and non-fiction books, as well as plays for young people.  He compares reading to buses, where you can hop on one spot and hop off the next when you want to or need to.  He believes books can be fun, interactive and short, which is what attracts young readers to his books.
