Practical ideas

"Can I take this opportunity to say that I think Reading Champions is a fantastic initiative and our boys are really benefitting from it. The website has lots of useful resources and links"

Reading Champions school

Below are links to lists of ideas to get your boys championing reading. They are organised into bronze, silver and gold categories. However, these are not strict categories, as some bronze activities may be appropriate for silver or gold. There should be increased effort from the boys as they move through the awards. It is important that they aspire to these awards, and see them as a challenge which requires effort over a period of time.

More detailed information and ideas can be found in our comprehensive 26-page toolkit, which can be purchased as part of the Reading Champions resource pack. Find out more.
