National Reading Network for Schools and Early Years Settings

This national forum supports schools and early years settings to encourage the children and young people that you work with to enjoy reading. It was formerly part of the National Reading Campaign, which was also funded by the DCSF.

The NRN for Schools and Early Years settings is made up of three initiatives: Reading Connects, Reading Champions and Early Reading Connects. These three initiatives have one overall aim in common, to get children and young people to love reading. However, each initiative also has its own distinct aims and audiences, which are described below:
