Practical idea - Treasure baskets

8 Jan 2010

Create treasure baskets for babies from around six months old. Fill them with child-safe items with different shapes and textures. For example a brush, a large sea shell, a wooden cube and a whisk. They provide varied experiences for the baby and something to talk about.

Read this case study to see how treasure baskets were used in a nursery school.

Read this case study about a children's centre to find out more baby friendly activities.
