Practical idea - Storytelling day/ week/ month

18 Feb 2011

Either at the same time as a national storytelling event (see the national reading events calendar), or by setting up your own event, hold a storytelling day/ week/ month. Encourage everyone in the school to share their stories through fun activities and weave storytelling into lessons as well. This can work well in both primary and secondary schools; you’re never too old to share/ tell a story.
