Practical idea - Children's records

22 Feb 2010

Ask parents to fill in a questionnaire about their child when they join your setting. The questionnaire could include questions about the child's reading experiences, as well as likes and dislikes. This information could be updated as the child grows up and then passed on to the next setting they attend.

You might want to collect this information at a home visit instead of through a questionnaire.
