Practical idea - Parent role models

22 Feb 2010

Encourage parents and carers to be role models. For example, if children see members of their family reading, they will begin to be interested in reading and want to be a reader like their mum or dad.

You could put books and magazines in your reception area for parents and carers to read when they are dropping off and picking up their child.
