NLT policy

The National Literacy Trust analyses and supports the development of government policy, by attending expert advisory group meetings and responding to consultations. We also produce monthly policy statements for professionals and practitioners on issues affecting literacy policy.

  Rising to the Literacy Challenge – The Labour Party Conference

  On 28 September, the National Literacy Trust, in association with Starbucks, held a fringe event at the Labour Party Conference. Key education thinkers from the Labour Party, discussed both the future of literacy and the record of the Labour Government.
