NLT policy
The National Literacy Trust analyses and supports the development of government policy, by attending expert advisory group meetings and responding to consultations. We also produce monthly policy statements for professionals and practitioners on issues affecting literacy policy.

On 21 September the National Literacy Trust, in association with Starbucks, held an event at the Liberal Democrat Party conference. Panellists including Lord Tope and journalist Judy Friedberg led the audience in a wide ranging discussion on literacy.
