Who are they?

The Day logoThe Day provide a digital news service for secondary schools and teachers, with articles written to promote critical thinking and improve literacy skills. Their writers create at least 2 new articles every day of the school year. Every article can be used as a complete lesson with activities, debate questions and further reading. Who are they?

First News is the only weekly newspaper for young people in the UK. First NewsFN logo small is subscribed to by 1 in 3 schools across the UK, with 87% of teachers saying that it improved literacy. The newspaper provides up-to-date, insightful and dynamic articles on a range of subjects, which are relevant to 7-14 year olds, from national to international news, sport to science.

What can they offer me?
