The year’s WBD2012 yellow right jpgbiggest celebration of books and reading is nearly here. As usual children can choose one of eight free books by top authors and illustrators with their £1 book token. This year there is also a new World Book Day App with stories, videos and latest news.

Visit the website to download age-ranged resources or to register to watch 'The Biggest Book Show on Earth' which will feature an impressive line-up of authors and illustrators streamed live on 1 March. You can also share your plans for the day on the website.
