National Poetry Day – 7 October 2010

7 Oct 2010

National Poetry Day is providing free downloadable resources for early years practitioners. The resources are intended to help practitioners celebrate National Poetry Day and encourage the enjoyment of poetry by young children.

The resources consist of downloadable activity sheets with links to audio books, games, music and paintings. They have been written by poet Mandy Coe and provide practical guides to understanding the structure of poetry and helpful tips for children when creating their own poetry.

For more information please see the National Poetry Day website.
