Teachers TV programmes which focus on promoting reading

From Tuesday 26 May 2009, why not visit www.teachers.tv and watch the two great new programmes related to promoting reading at KS3. The first programme focuses on whole-school reading cultures and features the Reading Connects school of the year for 2006/2007: Werneth School (Stockport). The second explores how comics can be used to get young people to enjoy reading more and features Whitley Bay High School (North Tyneside).
