Author Chris Ryan launches a school library makeover in Islington

6 Mar 2013

Author Chris Ryan announced our first library makeover in Islington today. We have seven more to follow thanks to the generosity of supporters who bid during our 20th anniversary Gala Dinner in January 2012.

Moreland Primary School in Islington held a whole school assembly featuring Chris. He followed this with a Q & A with Year 6 pupils. His insight about what it takes to be a writer and what skills are needed had the pupils on the edge of their seats. Many thanks to Browns Books for Students who have supported the library makeover with a donation of 300 new books.

Chris is a former British SAS commando and is now the author of many bestselling thrillers for adults, as well as the Alpha Force and Code Red series for younger readers. He has written a short story for the World Book Day App. More information about his latest series, AGENT 21 can be found at his website
