We've been accredited as a UK Living Wage Employer
5 Nov 2012
The Living Wage campaign was launched in 2001 by parents in East London, who were frustrated that minimum wage jobs left no time for family life. Over 15,000 families have been lifted out of working poverty as a direct result of the Living Wage and we're proud to play our part.
The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually and is calculated according to the basic cost of living in the UK. The London Living Wage for this year has been set at £8.55 per hour and £7.45 per hour for outside London. Employers choose to pay the Living Wage on a voluntary basis not only to staff but also, where possible, to contractors.
