Job vacancy: Charity of the Year Partnership Manager

Dyslexia Action and the National Literacy Trust are seeking a dynamic and strategic candidate to manage and coordinate a two-year Charity of the Year partnership with one of the UK’s leading companies.

The two charities are working together to deliver literacy interventions through a Charity of the Year partnership entitled ‘Action for Literacy’. The Charity of the Year Partnership Manager will be responsible for managing all activity between Action for Literacy and our corporate partner and will ensure the partnership makes a significant impact on literacy levels in the UK.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams from both charities to offer innovative and engaging volunteering opportunities for the corporate partner’s employees. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that pro bono support and fundraised income are used effectively to strengthen both charities.

We are looking for a strong collaborator who is excited about developing the partnership between Dyslexia Action and the National Literacy Trust. You will need proven experience of managing partnerships in either the corporate or third sector. You will be a confident written and oral communicator who is able to motivate audiences and engage with staff at all levels.

Closing date for applications is Sunday 2 September 2012. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted on Tuesday 4 September and will be notified of our corporate partner prior to interview. Interviews will take place on Thursday 6 September at the National Literacy Trust offices. We are looking for the right candidate to start as soon as possible.
