Support needed for Stephen Fry film

21 Aug 2012

Stephen Fry has read Oscar Wilde's short story 'The Happy Prince' aloud and we now need your support for the story to be made into a short film.

Earlier this year an excerpt of three minutes of the story appeared with beautiful animation as part of the ‘in love with’… series on Sky Arts TV. When this was filmed, Stephen Fry generously recorded the entire story for use at a later date in support of the National Literacy Trust.

Production team The B Good Picture Company would like to use the reading to produce a short film complete with animation. All production rights will go exclusively to our charity to help us raise awareness of our work. The short film and audio book version will be used to create resources for teachers to use in the classroom. For the film to happen the production team needs financial support.
