Sock puppets take over Twitter to raise funds for National Literacy Trust

16 Mar 2012

LibbooPublishing platform Libboo has been making ‘sock puppets’ that talk about reading to raise vital funds for our charity. The puppets are then filmed or photographed and shared over twitter. For each RT the company is donating $1 to us; and whenever anyone films or photographs themselves with Libboo's own sock puppets we’ll also receive a donation.

The team gathered great support at music festival South By SouthWest with a sock puppet-making station. The campaign is running online until 19 March and we need everyone to be tweeting until then! There are some basic rules:

What are the rules?
-You have to follow @libboo on Twitter.
-The message may vary a bit, but you have to include the #LibbooSXSW hashtag (it just makes it a lot easier for your tweets to be found).

To find out more about Libboo and this campaign check out their website at http://www.libboo.com/blog/2012/03/road-trip-day-3-sock-puppets-explained/.
