New activity booklet for families getting ready for school
6 Mar 2012
The National Literacy Trust has launched a new booklet for families with great activities to promote literacy in the home and parental engagement.
Activities have been developed by volunteers, many of whom are parents themselves. I Spy a Picture Book has been created as part of the Literacy Champions programme, and is designed to inspire young children’s interest in sharing books and talking.
Direct families to www.wordsforlife.org.uk to download their free copy of I Spy a Picture Book.
