National Libraries Day announced for 4 February 2012

9 Sep 2011

The nationwide celebration of libraries and librarians has been confirmed for Saturday 4 February. National Libraries Day is one day devoted to librarians and libraries – public libraries, school and university libraries, prison libraries and national libraries.

Many people do not realise what resources their local library has to offer; this day aims to educate communities to make the most of them.

Please visit the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals for more information. Further details will be announced shortly.
