Cara, nine, has been announced as the winner of the National Literacy Trust and Build-A-Bear Workshop® storywriting competition. Launched on World Book Day, the competition asked children to finish a story that had been started by Katharine Holabird, the author of the enormously popular Angelina Ballerina series. Cara will receive a Build-A-Bear Workshop® party for herself and five friends as well as a school visit from mascot Bearemy. Two runners up, Jessica, eight, and Elizabeth, five, will receive a Turner Owl and a Build-A-Bear Workshop® voucher.
