Start 2011 with a brand new challenge

The New Year is the perfect time to take on a challenge or try something you’ve never done before. So why not take part in a day without words or a Super Hero run and raise money for the National Literacy Trust?

The National Literacy Trust needs to raise money to help the most disadvantaged children, young people and families to develop the literacy skills they need to be happy and successful.

So why not get creative? Our Director Jonathan Douglas recently undertook a day without words where he didn’t speak for an entire day. Or you could get involved in the Super Hero Run for the National Literacy Trust in Regent’s Park on Sunday 8 May. Plus there are always sky dives, fun runs and marathons to stretch yourself both physically and mentally!

If you would like more fundraising ideas please contact Lorna Taylor on lorna.taylor@literacytrust.org.uk or go here.
