New early years apprenticeships

A change in early years apprenticeships will take effect on 1 October 2010 with the introduction of the new Level 2 certificate. The new Level 2 certificate and Level 3 diploma, will replace the Children’s Care, Learning and Development apprenticeship and technical certificate. The Level 2 certificate will take between nine and 18 months to complete and the  candidate will be able to earn a salary while in the programme. Further information can be found at www.cwdcouncil.org.uk and www.skillsfundingagency.bis.gov.uk
