Teachers to be trained to spot dyslexia

Sir Jim Rose's review is expected to call for schools to be given clearer guidance on how to help children with the learning disability.

Children's Secretary Ed Balls has announced £10m for extra help, including training for 4,000 teachers.

The review has been welcomed by action groups, who said it will provide a blueprint to help children who find schoolwork difficult because of dyslexia, as well as those struggling with literacy.
