Government launches outdoor play resources
1 May 2009
Children & Young People Now reports on the government's online toolkit for local authorities. This toolkit will assist local authorities in communicating the benefits of outdoor play to the parents of children and young people. It compliments the work that authorities are carrying out through the government's £235m play strategy, offering practical support and guidance to ensure families make the most of the 3,500 play areas and 30 adventure playgrounds being built or refurbished across England by 2011.
