PhotoView UK as creative partner

Creative Partner PhotoView UK
We are very excited to have engaged PhotoView UK as a creative partner. Founded in 2005, by Owen Green, PhotoView UK was incorporated in 2009. They began by outreaching industry-trained photographers, media professionals and photographic equipment to schools and colleges in the UK, delivering tailor made short courses in photography, film making and visual literacy designed to engage and motivate young people to learn and express their creativity. PhotoView UK has several years experience working closely with schools and colleges developing courses for some of the most disadvantaged young people as well as courses for some of the most gifted.
Through the use of Visual Arts, PhotoView UK challenge young people to develop their talents, academic interests, and creative abilities, to provide the impetus for a lifelong commitment to and enthusiasm for learning, and to prepare them for critical evaluation and decision-making.
PhotoView UK will work alongside the National Literacy Trust to develop the content for the two stages of the pilot. They will also co-deliver the pilot sessions with the Words for Work project manager.
