Honor Wilson Fletcher has been awarded an MBE for services to education in respect of her role as Director of the 2008 National Year of Reading.

Since managing the successful year long celebration of reading, Honor has worked as Strategic Development Director of the National Literacy Trust and this January has started a new role as Director of educational organisation The Aldridge Foundation.
