Honor Wilson Fletcher to head Aldridge Foundation and sit on National Literacy Trust Advisory Group

16 Nov 2009

Honor Wilson Fletcher, who successfully managed the 2008 National Year of Reading and is currently Strategic Development Director of the National Literacy Trust, has been appointed as Director of the Aldridge Foundation. Honor has made an amazing contribution to the vision and vitality of the Trust and we’re thrilled that she has agreed to continue to support our work by accepting an invitation to become a member of the National Literacy Trust Advisory Group which supports the strategic development of the Trust by advising its staff and trustees.

The Aldridge Foundation uses entrepreneurship as a catalyst for young people to create lasting social change for them and their communities. Honor’s appointment is an important sign that literacy sits at the heart of this vision.
