London Literacy Champions
London Literacy Champions improves children’s literacy by training local volunteers to support parents in disadvantaged areas. This Team London project is funded by the Mayor of London and the Reuben Foundation and is delivered by the National Literacy Trust in partnership with 12 local authorities.
This exciting initiative sets out to boost young children’s literacy by engaging volunteers from communities across London to work with parents and their children.
Why it works
