Statement

Lifeworlds Learning is a community of educators working to inspire critical literacy and strategic creativity amongst learning communities. We work directly with learners, staff teams, cluster groups and national organisations to support the development of innovative teaching and learning for the 21st century. We believe enjoyable, inclusive and experiential learning can have a transformative impact on individuals and societies. Enabling learners to become literate - functionally, emotionally, critically and globally - is central to this. Our work includes resource development, CPD courses and inset, curriculum projects for pupils, and CPD projects for teachers and other educators. The core staff of Lifeworlds are also established children's non-fiction authors and consultants and provide many book-related projects for schools and library services including their 'Build-A-Book' days where schools create a book in 1 or 2 days. Lifeworlds Learning respond directly to the needs of organisations and provide bespoke support, but also offer a range of 'ready-made' courses, projects and resources via our website at www.lifeworldslearning.co.uk
