- The East Riding of Yorkshire's adult education - family learning service - family ESOL and prison-based Keeping Up with the Children courses
- North Huyton Sure Start, Knowsley - partnership with libraries, football clubs and Bookstart to reach out to dads (from the Reading Champions pages)
- Dads and Lads, Mums and Sons reading club, Reading, Berkshire - students and their parents undertake to read six books, and work together on reviews
- The Romsey School, Hampshire - a 'build your own computer' course that attracted a number of dads (from the Reading Champions pages)
- Warrington Wolves Rugby Club - pupils visit the library and stadium with their families, and players and coaches recommend their favourite books (from the Reading Champions pages)
