- Mosscare 'reads' the way forward, Manchester - how a housing association, in partnership with a Sure Start librarian, set up a reading corner in its offices
- Warrington Wolves Rugby Club - high school pupils visit the library and stadium with their families, and players and coaches recommend their favourite books (from the Reading Champions pages)
- Bedtime stories for all the family, Wirral - an evening session in a primary school, to encourage storytelling at home
