- Lambeth libraries, London - a Love Libraries event with children's writers and illustrators
- The Question Game - a game used in family learning sessions to help parents and children talk about books
- Year 7 transition at Loxford School, London Borough of Redbridge - a summer reading promotion for pupils about to start Year 7 and their parents
- Laurence and Jessica, CLPE, London Borough of Southwark - how a Centre for Literacy in Primary Education course helped one mother and daughter
- Southwark libraries - partnerships in action - special cards for foster carers and home-educated children, plus a partnership with Sure Start children's centres
- The Café Reading Project, St Stephen's C of E Primary School, Lambeth - families choose books from the library and share them in the local café
- 'Reading and Writing at Home' for all, West Acton, London - a programme for parents whose first language is not English, supporting them in how and what to read with children
- First Steps children's centre and 'A Winter's Tale', Westminster - involving parents in a winter-themed reading and writing project
