Pie Corbett

Pie CorbettPie Corbett is a former primary school headteacher, whose pupils regularly won awards for fiction and poetry writing. He is nationally known as an outstanding trainer and has written many best-selling educational books. Pie worked with the Primary National Strategy in developing the Talk for Writing training materials for fiction, then extending the approach across the curriculum, as well as involving families through the Family Storytelling project. Pie is currently working on our Transforming Writing research project, investigating how formative assessment can support pupils’ understanding of what makes good writing.
